u       Unprecedented Logistics Expo 2007 to be held in Beijing

In 2006, just the first year to implement the national Eleventh Five-Year Plan, the new logistics industry is deemed as the leading modern services to become a highlight of the national economic growth. As the logistics enterprise was reorganized and integrated in 2006, it is quite obvious for state-owned, civilian-run and foreign-funded enterprises to form a tripartite confrontation. All governments, both national and local, are greatly investing in the logistics infrastructure so as to improve logistics technical equipments, enhance logistics capability, shape a new situation of logistics management and technical innovation, make the basic logistics industry progressive.

The Expo held in Beijing, the capital of China, is unprecedented with a good many opportunities. On one hand, Beijing is the core of Jing-Jin-Tang Economic Circle to have ample economic resources, huge market, facilitated infrastructures and good cultural environment so that Beijing is luckily to became a venue of holding the Expo. On the other hand, Beijing is capable of stronger regional expansion toward the whole country, especially Northeast China and North China.

The theme of the Logistics Expo 2007 is to implement the Eleventh Five-Year Plan and accelerate the furthest development of Chinese logistics industry. The mission of the Logistics Expo 2007 is to put up a high-end platform for relevant authorities, enterprises and institutions in both central and local governments, as well as increase a channel to exchange the information among governments, enterprises and publics. The Expo will invite state heads, leaders in both ministries and local governments, experts, scholars and noted entrepreneurs to make an authority report and speech, study Chinese macroeconomic and logistics policies, answer the issues focused on by both local governments and enterprises, make an interactive exchange with participators to discuss the opportunity and challenge that the economic globalization will urge the development of Chinese logistics industry. Furthermore the Logistics Expo 2007 will win the support and participation of governments in Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan so that, at the moment, the distinguished personages and enterprise pioneers will get together to make suggestions and investments for the development of Chinese logistics industry and the economic prosperity. The annual convention is to advance the propagation and reportage of Chinese logistics industry, and to centralize the social force and intelligence to make contributions to the development and boom of Chinese logistics industry.

u       An authoritative exhibition with the aid of the China Logistics Association

China Logistics Association (CLA), a nationwide voluntarily-incorporated organization approved by the Government of Special Administrative Region of the People’s Republic of China in 2002, has focused on the largest-sized, representative enterprises in the logistics industry. Furthermore CLA has over 2600 members in the chain store, automobile, steel manufacture, pharmaceutical, coal, aviation, shipping, harbor, transport, container, etc.

The Expo, comprising enterprise techniques & exhibits, trade talks & interactive enterprise and business, and academic forum & technical exchange, has three exhibition sections, such as technical section for warehouse facilities, harbor techniques & equipments section, and shipping techniques & equipments section. The detailed schedule is as follows:

◆  The exhibition will involve the machinery, logistics services & shipping, third/fourth logistics, logistics base/center, D&T center, express, harbor/port, airport, postal service, freight, B2B e-business provider, ocean/water shipping, railway/highway transport, airfreight, piping transport, multi through transport, and cargo storage, protection, transfer & consolidation service.

◆  We will extend a multifaceted exhibition and place an advertisement for 430 versions per through the magazine, newspaper, Internet, TV, Radio, live advertising, email, insertion, exhibition preview, exhibition topics, communication over the phone, etc.

◆  We will invite approximately 160,000 visitors and 60,000 buyers to share the exhibition, at least including 300,000 tickets and 100,000 invitations to be sent to the world, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan.

◆  Industrial Chain Exhibition: The merchant group will send an invitation to the similar exhibition or provider’s exhibition for the neighboring extension.

◆  Reportage: The press conference was recently held to have a in-depth report and make a further impression.

1、The manufacturer who wants to apply for the exhibition should carefully fill in and put a seal on the Agreement and then submit or fax it to the organizing committee. The cost of participation must be remitted to the appointed account number within 7 days after applying for the exhibition. After remitting cost of participation, the participator should fax the cash remittance to the organizer to recheck. The invoice on the exhibition should be made by the financial group.

2、All exhibits should be required as per the principle of arranging who to apply for the exhibition and pay the money firstly. The organizing committee has the right to cancel or remove those booths that failed to be paid for. (Notes: After applying for the exhibition, the exhibitor should advert to the Notice of Exhibition, which was sent out within 30 days before holding the exhibition.

3、The co-organizers can’t return the cost of participation to any participator who retreated from the exhibition after applying for the exhibition. For the purpose of overall exhibition layout, the co-organizers have the right to adjust few of booths if necessary. Because of force majeure, the co-organizers can delay or cancel the exhibition.
