Summary
The 7th China International Motorcycle Trade Exhibition 2008 is the sole national expo for motorcycle trade industry in China with the support of Chinese government. Chinese motorcycle ranks the first in the world in turnout and in sales volume of 2,100,000 motorcycles in 2006. There are 5 provinces among 31 in China (exclusive Hongkong, Macao and Taiwan) are famous for motorcycle producing. The main Chinese motorcycle manufacturers are concentrated in Chongqing, Guangdong, Zhejiang, Jiangsu and Shanghai, whose export volume is above 100 million US Dollars. In 2005, Chongqing takes the first place by exporting 1,731,000 motorcycles with 588 million US Dollars. Among the top ten motorcycle manufacturers, 5 come from Chongqing: Lifan Group (first), Zongshen Industry Group (second), Chongqing Loncin Industry Co., Ltd. (fourth), Jianshe Group (fifth), China Jialing Group (seventh).
Visitor Information
The visitors for CIMTE2007 are from 30 provinces in China and other 40 countries and regions. Among the overseas buyers, the Asia accounts for 37.5%, the Europe accounts for 28.75%, the Africa accounts for 5.63%, the North America accounts for 13.75%, the South America accounts for 8.75%, the Oceania accounts for 5.62%. Some samples for exhibiting were sold out on the site of CIMTE2007.
Spanish Association of Manufacturers of Motorcycles, Bicycles, Spare Parts and Accessories，Motorcycle and Spare Parts Importers Association of Sri Lankan and Motorcycle & Moped Industry Council appointed delegates to visit CIMTE2007, introducing the motorcycle market in their own countries and serving as the bridge for motorcycle enterprises to develop their international market.

There are 118 exhibitors, 606 booths for CIMTE2007, increasing by 100% compared with CIMTE2006. Furthermore, 9.3% of them are overseas exhibitors, coming from America, Germany, Japan, England, Spanish, French, Taiwan, etc.
