1. About the 103rd Canton Fair
Approved by the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China, the 103rd Canton Fair will be held simultaneously in Pazhou Complex and Liuhua Complex during 15-20 and 25-30 April 2008 in Guangzhou, China. We estimate that nearly 200,000 buyers from over 200 countries and regions will gather in Guangzhou to exchange information and procure products. Over 150 of world's top 250 retailers are expected to attend the Canton Fair to make procurement.
The exhibition space of National Pavilion will be expanded to about 825,000 M2, with 10,767 stands increased. 15,000 top Chinese domestic exhibitors with best reputation and strong competitiveness will participate and show their exhibits in 34 sections, covering Industrial Products and Medicine & Health Care, Textiles & Garments, Consumer Goods, Gifts.
The International Pavilion, with an exhibition space of 15,000 M2, will be set up from 15 to 20 April in Pazhou Complex and attract famous enterprises all over the world to participate. The exhibits will focus on consumer goods, and supplemented by industrial products. This pavilion will be organized according to an exhibition mode that features both industry specialization and national / regional exhibition sections.
The Canton Fair boasts the functions of import and export trade, providing a best platform for international business communities to trade with China. Worldwide professionals from industrial and business circles are welcome to negotiate business or participate as exhibitors in the Canton Fair.
2. How to Join the Fair:
(1)Invitation & Information:
Please apply for E-invitation through BEST (Buyer E-Service Tool) on www. cantonfair.org.cn. BEST is a multi-functional service platform for buyers. Each overseas company to the Fair has a special username and password to log in, and enjoy the following prestigious services: Print your E-invitation, Apply for E-pass and take part in other relative mutual-active services, like updating contacts, E-comment, E-survey. Any questions about BEST, please e-mail to info@cantonfair.org.cn, fax to 0086-20-83335880, or call 0086-20-26089999.
If you have difficulty in applying for E-invitation, you may contact the Economic & Commercial Counselor’s Office of the Embassy of P. R. China in Ghana to apply for a paper invitation. Procedure is as follows:
Step 1. Prepare the required documents:
--Registration Form (Please download it from the attachment)
--Original and photocopy of Business Registration Certificate
--Original and photocopy of Form A (Registration of Business
Names)
--Original and photocopy of Bank Statements
--Original and photocopy of Tax Clearance Certificate
--Original and photocopy of applicant’s passport (including one of the visa records if any)
Step 2. Submit all the required documents.
Step 3. Get your application number.
Step 4. 1 week after your application accepted, come back for your
invitation with your application number
Attention:
1．For applicants with a blank passport (passport without any visa records), the original and photocopy of your air ticket to China are required together with the above mentioned documents.
2. One Invitation card can only invite at most 3 persons to the Fair.
