The seventh Shanghai International Industry Fari (SIF2005) will be held during Nov. 4th~9th at Shanghai New International Expo Center.
SIF2005 will have four specialized shows: IT Equipment Show, Manufacturing Technology Show, Electric Power & Control Technique Show and Scientific & Technological Innovation Show. The total space will be 80,500sqm.
There were 1,286 exhibitors attended SIF2004, occupying 3359booths, which is 28.8% more than SIF2003. 281 of them were overseas exhibitors. They were from 20 foreign countries or regions such as Japan, US, Germany, South Korea, Italy, Belarus, Taiwan and Hong Kong. There were 381,000 visitors total in 2004. It's 21.58% decrease than SIF 2003. But the number of professional visitors reached 242,500, 8.37% increased than SIF 2003. It's a result of SIF 2003 specialization and trading. SIF is now becoming a platform for product and technology trading for both domestic and overseas business.
