First initiated in July 1999, China International Building and Decoration Fair (CBD) is held annually. The 6th session of the Fair held in 2004 registered an exhibition area of 110,000 square meters with around 1,647 enterprises participating, attracting 52,192 professional buyers. Now the Fair is truly Asia's biggest and most influential fair in building and decoration industry.
The fair has successfully held high-level seminars that add glamour to the fair and attract more professional buyers. Some cases in point include: "International Building and Indoor Design Forum"; "Explanation of PRC Wooden Construction Design Standard"; and "Summit Forum of National 30 Floor Manufacturers and Pearl River Delta Woodwork Industry Development Forum".
CBD has facilitated development of Chinese building and decoration industry, enhanced domestic and international communication & exchange, and provided a platform for enterprises to showcase and promote themselves, as well as develop exchange and business.
