The 1st China Tianjin Economic Cooperation & Investment Conference and the 12th Tianjin Spring Chinese Commodities Fair (hereafter called CECIC&SCCF) are to be held from April 18th to 22nd, 2005 simultaneously at the Tianjin International Exhibition Center, the Tianjin Sport Exhibition Center and the Tianjin Grand Hall.

Specially supported by the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China, CECIC&SCCF is sponsored by the Tianjin Municipal Government and the China General Chamber of Commerce, and co-sponsored by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, the Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute and the China International Enterprises Cooperative Corporation. The fair will be jointly organized by Tianjin Commission of Commerce, the Tianjin Development and Reform Commission and the Economic Cooperation Office of Tianjin Municipal Government.

With the theme of 'To carry out full-acale strategy of economy & trade and to accelerate the step of opening up to the outside world', CECIC&SCCF sticks to the principle of “face the world, serve the whole nation, expand communication, promote cooperation and seek mutual development”.

The three main contents of CECIC&SCCF are 'Investment', 'Commodities Fair' and 'Talent & Intelligence Fair'.
