1.Brief Introduction
East China Fair (ECF) is the largest regional trade fair in China with the most traders, great variety of exhibits and the most onsite deals. With an annul 7-day session from March 1st in Shanghai, ECF is co-sponsored by nine provinces and cities, namely Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Fujian, Jiangxi, Shandong Province and two cities of Nanjing and Ningbo.

East China Fair, initiated in 1991 and thereafter thirteen sessions have been held successfully. The 14th East China Fair had over 18,900 business visitors from 150 countries and regions as well as 100,000 of their Chinese counterparts. The trade volume amounted to over 2.50 billion US dollars. More than 140,000 persons had surfed the website of ECF.

The 14th East China Fair was held at Shanghai New International Expo Center, from March 1st to 7th, 2004, with an exhibition area of 80,500sqm. There were three specialized exhibition pavilions with 4,158 standard booths and 3,081 enterprises, namely Textiles & Arts & Crafts, and Light Industrial Products. Overseas exhibitors were from 16 counties and regions such as USA, UK, France, Spain. A great variety of traditional and new products will be displayed with more focus on high-tech, famous local brands.

The 15th East China Fair will be held at Shanghai New International Expo Center, on March 1st to 6th, 2005, with an exhibition area of 80,000sqm. Over 4,000 standard booths available, there will be kinds for textiles and garments, light industry and craftwork. The objective of East China Fair is to become a professional fair. Meanwhile, ECF facilitated business talks concerning transactions, investment and various kinds of cooperation. We warmly welcome visitors and exhibitors from all over the world.

2.Rates and Products Range for Overseas Exhibitors
1.Specification: booth to international standards (3M x 3M).
2.Rate: 2,500 USD for each booth.
3.Facilities: a table, a lockable cup board, 4 chairs, 2 spotlights (100W), a plug (220V), and a Chinese-English signboard for each booth.
4.Products Range: textiles, garments, light industrial products, craftwork and consumer goods.

3.Participation Procedure
1.Registration:
Exhibitors are advised to fill in the Registration Form, sealed with office seals or signature, and then return it to the Exhibition Office of East China Fair by fax or mail before Nov. 15, 2004.
2.Confirmation:
A written confirmation from the Exhibition Office will be sent to you within 15 days upon receipt of the Registration Form.
3.Payment:
Exhibition fees are to be paid to the appointed bank within 15 days upon confirmation of your participation to the Fair, with certificate of the payment faxed or mailed to the Exhibition Office afterwards.

5.Services
1.Assistance to shipment, customs procedures and selling of the exhibits after the Fair.
2.Exhibition equipment leasing, extra decoration of exhibition booth and advertisement promotion.
3.Services related to banking, customs, insurance, business center and other relevant trade services.
4.Assistance to accommodations of the exhibitors and ticket booking.

6.Exhibition Rules
1.All the exhibitors are required to comply with arrangements of the Organizing Committee as well as all the regulations and rules concerned.
2.No more than three staffs are allowed to work in each booth. Each of them is required to hand in a two-inch photo taken recently for his ID pass to the Fair.
3.All the exhibitors are supposed to finish booth designing before the Fair. Those in need of extra decoration should submit the design sketch to the Organizing Committee for approval before December 31st, 2004. Otherwise, the booth would be set up in a normal standard way.
4.Dangerous articles, either inflammable or explosive, are forbidden from the halls.
