The purpose of the International Air & Space Fair, FIDAE, is to be the leading Air Show Organization in Latin America.

The Organizers will develop an international event to exhibit the technological novelties in commercial and defense areas at world level; have FIDAE as an integral aeronautical show including civil aviation, defense, aerospace technology, maintenance, and ground support equipment; support the Chilean economy promoting instances to grow and exhibit the leading advances both in aeronautics and space development; promote educative instances, which turn into a true contribution to citizenry knowledge.
