Founded in 1964，Beijing International Studies University is a nationwide renowned key comprehensive university of higher education and has developed into a multi-disciplinary university incorporating liberal arts，management，economics and law，with the specialities of foreign languages and tourism as its most distinguishing feature.          out of Chinese courses teaching. It is a special school that enrolls and teaches foreign students. 
         The School of International Cultural Exchange of Beijing International Studies University provides
         the specialty of Chinese （including tourism route and finance route） for undergraduate   
         program and also Chinese-Language learner program. The School of International Cultural 
         Exchange of Beijing International Studies University is among the first batch of organizations that
         are authorized to hold the HSK Exam in Beijing. The HSK Exam is held three times annually in  
         May，July and December. Course Outlines：Extensive Reading，Oral Chinese，Listening
         Comprehension，Dialogue，Newspaper Reading and Film Appreciation etc.
     5. Short-term program （under half a year）:based on the different demands of learners, Chinese 
        Language courses can be arranged on different dates.

        6. classes arrangement：20 teaching hours per week from Monday to Friday 8：00-12：00
            during summer vacation. Free activities are available in the afternoons and weekends.

　　Matriculation：

　　Upon verification，Beijing International Studies University will send out "Visa Application Form
        for Study in China" （JW202） and "University Admission Notice" to the accepted students 
        before January 31（spring） or July 31（autumn）。 Holders of the above-mentioned two
        documents and health examination certificate are supposed to apply for the Students Visa or Visit
        Visa at the nearest Chinese embassy or Chinese consulate.

　　Health Examination:

　　The foreign students who will study over half a year should go through health examination before
        entering into China and submit standard health examination forms to the university （available at
        the embassy or the consulate），to be checked by Beijing Health Center to make sure all the 
        items of the forms are complete，otherwise the students will take medical examination again at their own expense at Beijing Health Center. The students who applied for Students visa， but do not take physical examination prior to entering into China must take health examinations at Beijing Health Center at their own expense.

　　Registration

　　Applicants are supposed to hold the original documents of "Visa Application Form for Study in China"（JW202） and "University Admission Notice" and health examination certificate and 8 passport-size photos to go to Beijing International Studies University for registration formalities on the prescribed date. Applicants who failed to achieve it within 10 days will be disqualified the status.

　　Study Insurance

　　If the applicants have been insured themselves with the Overseas Insurance before entering into China， the presentation of the original documents is required upon registration. If not， when registration， Accident Insurance and Hospitalization Insurance are required to be bought on the spot at own expense of 600 RMB per year.
