Wuhan University boasts a campus which covers an area of 5508 mu and it has a floorage of 2.42 million square metres. Exchange Students
Wuhan University recruits exchange students according to its exchange agreements with foreign educational institutions. For those who want to study at Wuhan as exchange students, they should apply for it to the International Office of their home university. Students will be recruited after the negotiation between the student’s home university and Wuhan University’s International Office and with the approval of the Admission Office of College of Foreign Students Education.

Enrollment procedures
1. We will review the documents and choose the qualified students according to the recruitment scale of the year. Then we will send out Admission Notice, Visa Application for Study in China (JW202 or JW201 form) and Physical Examination Record for Foreigners to those students.

2. With Physical Examination Record for Foreigners, students should go to national hospitals, public hospitals or the designated medical institutions to take the physical examination. Those who stay in China can go to the local Hygiene & Quarantine Bureau for physical examination.

3. With the Residence License of cities other than Wuhan, you are not required to take the physical examination. But you must go through residence permit transference procedures at the place where you are before your arrival in Wuhan.

4. You need to apply for F or X visa at Chinese Embassy with Admission Notice, Visa Application for Study in China (JW202 or JW201 form) and Physical Examination Record for Foreigners.

Language Students

Introduction

We provide Chinese language courses for international students who are taught by our professional teachers teaching Chinese to foreigners. They train the students from the aspects of listening, speaking, reading and writing. To guarantee the teaching quality, we will divide the students into different classes from beginning, junior, middle and senior levels according to their Chinese language proficiency. The number of students in each class is strictly kept small.

2. Send the application form, application fees and other related documents by post, fax or email directly to Admission Office before the application deadline.

3. Admission Notice issued by Wuhan University and Visa Application for Study in China (JW202 form) will be sent to students screened and admitted.

4. Admitted students should bring Admission Notice, Visa Application for Study in China (JW 202 form) and Physical Examination Record to the Chinese embassy for visa to China (X or F visa).

5. Admitted students should bring Admission Notice, Visa Application for study in China (JW 202 form), passports, personal registration photos (8 for each person) and physical examination forms (Original blood test report, X-ray check-up and the electrocardiogram and etc.) to register at Wuhan University within the registration period indicated in Admission Notice and obtain the Residence License within 30 days after entering China. Students who fail to register within the registration period without proper reasons will be rejected. Exceptions can be made to students whose delay has been granted by the University in advance.
