Measures on the Comprehensive Evaluation of Implementing Reliable Foodstuff Project (Trial)(hereinafter referred to as the Measures), which is jointly issued by State Food and Drug Administration, Ministry of Public Security, Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Commerce, Ministry of Health, State Administration for Industry and Commerce, General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine, and General Administration of Customs, aims at effectively evaluating and further improving the Reliable Foodstuff Project.



In accordance with the Measures, all the relevant local departments shall actively implement the comprehensive evaluation on Reliable Foodstuff Project in the light of specific conditions, and promptly feedback the problems emerged in the process to the State Food and Drug Administration so as to continuously perfect the Measures.



State Food and Drug Administration, together with relevant departments, will start up the comprehensive evaluation on Reliable Foodstuff Project on a trial basis in the following 11 cities and counties: Daqing City of Hei Longjing Province, Liaoyuan City of JiLIn Province, Tangshan City of HeBei Province, Shangqiu City of HeNan Province, Changde City of HuNan Province, Xiamen City of FuJian Province, Mianyang City of SiChuan Province, Nanning City of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, Yinchuan City of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region，Urumchi City of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, Bishan County of Chongqing Municipality. The above-mentioned comprehensive evaluation shall be implemented prior to December in 2004, the report of which shall be submitted to State Food and Drug Administration prior to January15, 2005.
