According to statistics from Customs, total value of China's import and export in January through December was US$1422.12 billion, up by 23.2% compared with the same time of precious year. Export was US$762 billion, up by 28.4%; Import was US$660.12 billion, up by 17.6%. China achieved a trade surplus of US$101.88 billion, up by 217.4%. In December, total import and export were US$139.81 billion, up by 20%. Export was US$75.41 billion and import US$64.4 billion, up by 18.2% and 22.2% respectively. And trade surplus was US$11.01 billion, down by 0.9%.
