Location: On the Southeast coast of China, to the west of the Pearl River Delta and bordering Guangdong Province.
Area: 23.8 square kilometers
Climate: Warm and humid with a fairly wide variation in temperature over the year. From June to September, the temperature may rise to over 30鈩 and it may drop to below 10鈩 from November to February. But the average temperature rarely drops below 14鈩. The weather of Macau is also influenced by tropical cyclones from the South Pacific Ocean during the typhoon season.
